Ways to Support the Troop

There are three ways to support Troop GA-4100: give financially, contribute supplies and equipment, or serve alongside us. Details on each below.

How can I help?

We hear this question from parents, grandparents, Restoration Church members, and local businesses — and every time, it’s an encouragement.

The troop runs fundraisers, but your generosity opens doors that fundraising alone cannot. Better gear. Richer adventures on the trail. A greater capacity to serve the families and community around us. However you choose to get involved, you’re investing directly in young men being shaped into leaders of character.

There are three ways to help.

Invest in the Next Generation

Give Financially

Your financial gift goes directly toward expanding what these young men experience — better gear, more ambitious trail adventures, and a greater capacity to serve the community around us.

Giving is simple. Open the Church Center app, select Restoration Church, and choose “Trail Life Troop 4100” from the offerings dropdown.

Contribute Supplies & Equipment

We gladly accept gear and supplies the troop can put to use — tents, sleeping bags, camping tools, games, and similar items — as well as items designated for a service or fundraising project. Your contribution may also be tax-deductible, and we’ll provide a receipt for your records.

One ask: connect with a troop leader before purchasing anything. We want to make sure your gift lands well and can be properly stored. Reach out — we genuinely love this question.

Give Your Time, Shape Their Lives

Some of the most meaningful contributions to this troop have come from people who simply showed up and said, “I want to help.”

There are two ways to serve:

  • Directly with the boys — leading, mentoring, and being a consistent presence in their lives
  • Behind the scenes — coordinating events, researching camping destinations, or helping plan activities that connect with the badges and skills the Trailmen are pursuing

You don’t have to be a member of Restoration Church. The troop is a ministry of the church for the broader community, and several of our current leaders attend other local churches that don’t have a troop of their own.

You don’t have to have a son in the troop. Some of the strongest troops across the country are built by men and women who are empty nesters, never had children, or simply have a heart for investing in the next generation of young men. If that’s you, we’d love to talk.

Whether you want to serve for a single event, step in as a substitute leader, or join us on an ongoing basis — reach out. Send us a message on our [contact page] or talk to one of our leaders at the next meeting.
